RITUAL

After hydrating (hydrosol), before moisturizing* (balm or butter), apply a thin layer of elixir onto your face and decolletage. Avoid touching the dropper directly to your skin, as this could introduce bacteria to your oil.

*Can be used on its own as your daily moisturizer, in combination with our Daily Glow, or if you're struggling with dry skin, I recommend always beginning with a hydrosol for hydrating and then adding a layer of fat with our Face Butter or Overnight Balm for protection. You can also use this product as a gentle spot treatment on blemishes, breakouts or scarring.

Jojoba Oil rebalances natural sebum production, absorbs well and softens the skin.

Emu Oil is a natural anti-inflammatory emollient, promoting deep healing on a cellular level.

Blue Lotus calms and soothes irritated skin while balancing oil production.

Tremella contains and absorbs over 500 times its weight in water, making your skin noticeably smooth and hydrated.

White Willow Bark offers its active ingredient, BHA (salicylic acid) - a natural acne fighter - calming inflammation, clearing out bacteria and soothing pores.

Elemi Resin was used throughout the middle east for thousands of years as an antiseptic and for healing scars and wounds.

Myrrh Resin is a timeless healing tree resin with notable antifungal and antibacterial properties, making an excelling ingredient for taming bacteria-filled pores.

Even though ALL of Slow's creations are made with pure and organic ingredients, and it is highly unlikely that any reaction will occur, it is still wise to always begin with a small amount to test for irritation.

Each product is made in micro batches by me in our home-based apothecary and there may be some variation from batch to batch, but ratios remain the same.

Noticing a Difference

I have hormonal acne so I don’t know if I will ever have clear skin unless I work on my hormones. But I’ve been using this for a few days now as it is new, and my skin appears to be a little more clear than it has been. I’m loving it and it feels great to be using super clean ingredients that come from nature. I’m pairing it with Daily Glow in the mornings and this elixir at night.

Wonderful oil

I really enjoy using this face oil. it's a high quality product, and is fairly lightweight. my skin is oily, but this works very well for me in the summer months. it does not make me break out, and it's lovely for gua sha as well.

I use this for spot treatment and on my upper back when I get a little breakout from sweating. So far it’s been doing its job.
