ORGANIC & ETHICAL INGREDIENTS
Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba oil), Camellia oleifera (camellia oil), Macadamia integrifolia (macadamia nut oil), Hippophae rhamnoides (sea buckthorn berry oil) and Calophyllum inophyllum (tamanu oil), tetrahexyl decylascorbate (non-oxidizing vitamin C)- Calendula officinalis (calendula), Helichrysum arenarium (helichrysum), Ocimum tenuiflorum (tulsi), Santalum spicatum (sandalwood), Vanilla planifolia (vanilla) and coQ10 extracts, non-gmo/full spectrum vitamin E oil (wheatgerm derived)
RITUAL
After hydrating (hydrosol), before moisturizing/protecting* (balm or butter), apply a thin layer of elixir onto your face and decolletage. Avoid touching the dropper directly to your skin, as this could introduce bacteria to your oil.
*Vitamin C Elixir can be used on its own as your daily moisturizer or if you're struggling with dry skin, I recommend always beginning with a hydrosol for hydrating and then adding a layer of fat with one of our tallow balm/butters.
** a small amount of sediment at the bottom of this oil is normal. I triple strain all oil infusions, however, tiny plant particles from powdering our freshly dried herbs sometimes make it through the cloth. This is medicine and will not harm your skin! Simply shake your bottle and mix it all up!
INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHTS
Helichrysum: Softens and smooths the skin, brightens skin tone, and reduces the appearance of dark spots.
Tulsi (Holy Basil): Supports your skin's natural cleansing abilities and combats harmful bacteria, leaving your skin delightfully refreshed.
Sandalwood: Not only graces you with an uplifting scent but also reduces pigmentation and scarring, supporting the healing of blemishes.
Calendula: a well-known herb for ultra soothing and softening of the skin. Calms and nourishes and over time its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to protect your skin's collagen and elastin supply - plumping and softening the skin. A gentle and extremely effective herb with anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties.
Rose: loaded with antioxidants, rose petals support the prevention of cell damage and help to regenerate skin tissues. Rose is wonderful for all skin types, but particularly moisturizing for dry skin.
Vanilla: a rich source of antioxidants, vanilla bean, helping protect teh skin against environmental stressors. Alos loaded with B vitamins, including niacin, a key skin nutrient. Also contains thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and pantothenic acid.
Jojoba Oil: Balances natural sebum production, absorbs seamlessly, and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple.
Tamanu Oil: Reduces scarring, calms inflammation, and provides deep hydration to your skin.
Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil: Rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and vitamins C and E, it hydrates, enhances elasticity, and stimulates cell regeneration.
Camellia Oil: is a seed oil, but very low in PUFAs and has a unique composition of oleic acids and vitamins, offering a plethora of benefits to your skin (smoothing fine lines, deep moisture, reduced redness/inflammation and improved elasticity). Camellia oil also has a similar molecular weight and composition as human sebum, making it absorb quickly and leaving your skin deeply nourished.

Macadamia Nut Oil: is loaded with the lipid Squalene, keeping your skin hydrated and nourished. Squalene maintains the fluidity of cell membranes which is crucial to the outer layer of the skin. Also, rich in Palmitoleic acid and Oleic Acid which help the skin cells known as keratinocytes to produce keratin in the outer most layer of the skin. Like collagen, keratin is a protein necessary for healthy skin!

Even though ALL of Slow's creations are made with pure and organic ingredients, and it is highly unlikely that any reaction will occur, it is still wise to always begin with a small amount to test for irritation.
Each product is made in micro batches by me in our home-based apothecary and there may be some variation from batch to batch, but ratios remain the same.
