INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHTS
Jojoba oil rebalances natural sebum production, absorbs well and softens the skin. "Sinking effortlessly into skin, it transfers phytonutrients to the tissues' deepest layers, helping skin retain moisture and replenish elasticity. Brilliantly beneficial to skin with its abundance of phenolic compounds, nutrients, vitamin E tocopherols, jojoba lubricates like oil, yet it is actually a liquid plant wax, so it will not go rancid, which effectively eliminates free radicals from your skincare." - Nadine Artemis
Camellia Oil is a seed oil, but very low in PUFAs and has a unique composition of oleic acids and vitamins, offering a plethora of benefits to your skin (smoothing fine lines, deep moisture, reduced redness/inflammation and improved elasticity). Camellia oil also has a similar molecular weight and composition as human sebum, making it absorb quickly and leaving your skin deeply nourished.
"Camellia replenishes lipids, regulates sebaceous secretions, and purifies pores. Thirsty winter skin is reborn with this effective emollient that revives elasticity and reduces dry lines. It is also a time-tested treasure of Japanese geishas, who traditionally used the oil to keep their long tresses shiny and soft, to remove makeup, and to moisturize skin, hair and nails." - Nadine Artemis
Emu Oil is a stable animal-sourced emollient, naturally anti-inflammatory and promotes deep healing on a cellular level
Tallow is a rich source of fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K, all of which are vital for overall skin health and integrity and CANNOT be found in plant-based fats. A superfood for skin!
Calendula soothes and softens even the driest of skin - excellent at calming inflammation and taming redness.
Pure Boswellic Acid Extract- the medicinal compound in frankincense extracted directly from the resin in frankincense sacra - please note that the boswellic acids CANNOT be extracted through steam-distillation, so they are not present in frankincense essential oil. This potent compound offers anti-inflammatory effects while softening and soothing the skin.
Rose & Vanilla create a feminine oil that is truly spectacular. Their intoxicating scent and mood-lifting abilities are just as important as their skin soothing properties.

Even though ALL of Slow's creations are made with pure and organic ingredients, and it is highly unlikely that any reaction will occur, it is still wise to always begin with a small amount to test for irritation.
Each product is made in micro batches by me in our home-based apothecary and there may be some variation from batch to batch, but ratios remain the same.
