Especially lovely for dry, sensitive, or stressed skin, this gentle floral water brings the nourishing benefits of calendula into a simple everyday ritual.
RITUAL
Slow’s hydrosols are grown, harvested, and distilled by hand in our small home apothecary using traditional copper steam and hydro-distillation. Each batch is made with care to preserve the plant’s delicate aromatic constituents within its water, creating a whole botanical preparation rather than a byproduct of essential oil production.
Mist generously onto clean skin and allow to absorb, or apply before your favorite facial oil or balm.
Use morning and evening, after cleansing, throughout the day whenever skin needs a little extra hydration, or as a soothing compress for areas that could use some additional care.
For a deeply nourishing ritual, follow with a botanical oil or balm to help seal in moisture.
STORAGE & FRESHNESS
Our hydrosols are best used within 12 months of distillation. Store in a cool, dark place away from heat and direct sunlight. For extended freshness, refrigerate after the first 12 months; refrigeration may subtly alter the scent profile.
As with all fresh botanical waters, exposure to heat, light, and air can accelerate oxidation and alter the hydrosol over time. Keep the cap securely closed and store with care to preserve its freshness, aroma, and quality.
